The Target app experienced a possible outage Friday, with thousands of users reporting issues, according to Downdetector.com.

More than 8,000 users had reported problems with the platform as of 8:30 a.m. PT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

Some users are also reporting issues with order tracking and Target’s website.

Update at 8:45 a.m.

More than 12,000 users have reported an issue regarding Target.com and the Target app.

Update at 10:03 a.m.

As user reports surpassed 15,000, a Target spokesperson issued the following statement to GV Wire: “We’re aware of intermittent issues with our digital experience and a fix is underway. In the meantime, our stores continue to be open and ready for holiday shopping. At Target, our top priority is offering a great guest experience. We apologize for this disruption.”
