Madera Jewelry Store Robbed, Owner Fires Shots

Multiple masked suspects smashed display cases and stole high-value jewelry from a Madera store Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, evening before fleeing as the owner fired shots, police said. (Madera PD)

Multiple suspects wearing black clothing and masks smashed display cases and stole high-value jewelry during a robbery at a store on Country Club Drive Thursday evening, Madera police said.

Officers were dispatched around 7:10 p.m. after reports of a robbery and shots fired.

Police said the store owner retrieved a firearm and fired at the suspects as they ran from the business. The suspects got into a dark-colored sedan and fled.

Police said they do not believe anyone was struck by gunfire.
