“PayPal and Venmo experienced a brief service disruption that has since been resolved,” a PayPal spokesperson told GV Wire.

PayPal and Venmo are experiencing an outage Thursday, with thousands of users reporting issues, according to Downdetector.com.

More than 20,000 users had reported problems with PayPal and another 20,000 users report issues with Venmo as of 9:09 a.m. PT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.
