A 29-year-old man was arrested after detectives seized drugs, a firearm and cash during a narcotics warrant this week, authorities said.

The Madera County Sheriff’s Office said its Narcotic Enforcement Team, known as MADNET, served the warrant in the city of Madera.

Detectives reported finding 16 grams of cocaine, suspected fentanyl pills, a loaded firearm and cash believed to be tied to illegal drug activity.

Jose Garcia was arrested and booked on multiple felony charges, including cocaine sales and being a felon in possession of a firearm, officials said.
