Locals looking to travel abroad can obtain a passport this weekend at the Exeter Post Office.

The post office will hold a passport fair from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday — no appointment necessary. Workers will help attendees obtain a U.S. passport, guiding them through the process.

There will be extra staff present, and attendees can even have their passport photo taken for $15.

Attendees must bring a valid form of photo identification, such as a current driver’s license, government ID, or military photo ID.

Additionally, they will need a certified copy of their birth certificate issued by the state, an original certificate of naturalization, or an old passport.

The post office recommends that customers fill out necessary forms ahead of time.

Application forms, application processes, and pricing information can be found here. People can also obtain this information via phone, in English and Spanish, by calling the National Passport Information Center at (877) 487-2778.
