A personal trainer was arrested last week in Clovis on charges of sending harmful material to a minor and molesting a teenager, police said.
Rick Bracamontes Jr., 50, of Fresno, was taken into custody Thursday by Clovis Police. He faces two felony charges after allegedly sending inappropriate messages and requests to a teenage female client, according to authorities.
Bracamontes had been working as an independent trainer at Doc’s Gym near Herndon and Minnewawa avenues for about three years.
The gym is cooperating with the investigation and has revoked his access to the facility, police said.
Investigators said Bracamontes’ communications with the victim began to change in December 2024, when he allegedly began using text messages and social media to request photos in different outfits in exchange for money.
The victim told her parents after the requests became increasingly inappropriate, prompting them to contact law enforcement.
