Man Shot While Driving in Visalia, Police Investigating

A man was shot while driving near Giddings Street and Riggin Avenue in Visalia just after midnight Monday, May 26, 2025, leaving him with non-life-threatening injuries as police continue to investigate. (Visalia PD)

A man was shot while driving in Visalia shortly after midnight Monday, the Visalia Police Department said in a statement.

Visalia police said they received a 911 call from the victim, who reported being shot near Giddings Street and Riggin Avenue.

Officers responded and found the man with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

A passenger in the vehicle was not hurt, police said.

No suspects have been identified, and the motive remains unclear. The investigation is ongoing.
