Internet influencer Andrew Tate defends himself against accusations of exploitation, misogyny, and rape in an interview with the BBC.

These allegations are currently under investigation by Romanian prosecutors. Tate dismissed the claims and insisted that he was a “force for good” who received guidance from God to perform a positive role.

He has a significant online following and influence, which some say has had a negative effect on young men.

Tate accused the BBC of inventing interviewees, such as the woman given that pseudonym Sophie, who provided testimony about her alleged exploitation by Tate. Sophie is now helping with Romanian prosecutors’ investigation.
