Fresno police are searching for a man who assaulted two employees at a convenience store while attempting to steal beer late Friday night.
Authorities said the incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. at the Johnny Quick located at 5993 East Belmont Avenue.
An unidentified man arrived at the store on a bicycle, placed two six-packs of beer into his backpack, and was confronted by employees when he tried to leave without paying.
The suspect became physically aggressive and assaulted both employees, according to police. After a struggle, the man regained control of the merchandise and fled the store.
