Two men have been arrested following a deadly altercation at an apartment complex near Divisadero Street and Connelly Avenue in Visalia early Sunday morning.

Visalia Police responded to reports of a large fight just before 5 a.m. and found two victims, a 54-year-old man and a 28-year-old man, suffering from injuries consistent with physical assault.
Both were transported to Kaweah Health, where the 54-year-old was listed in critical condition and later died from his injuries.

Officers detained several individuals at the scene resulting in the arrests of Oscar Medrano, 29, of Visalia, and Mario Lopez, 24, of Corcoran.
Both have been charged with homicide, police said.

The suspects were booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility.
