Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Furry treasure 1-year-old Tawny’s silky smooth, orange-striped suit is unusual for an iconic tabby girl kitty, but “purrfect” for this gentle, sunny-spirited sweetheart!

She gets along well with other cats, kittens, and a small dog, and is especially fond of her beautiful sister, Trixie. Together with her, they are their brother’s happy playmates in every romp and race and great cuddle buddies if a warm lap isn’t available.

This easy-going girl loves hugs and cuddles and cozy lap naps, but is never needy or demanding. Her lovely green eyes are a window to her loving heart and the focus of her picture-perfect, sugar-dusted face.

Tawny, like so many kittens needing help trying to survive without proper caretakers, was a part of a large TNR effort at a local home. Unaltered females have litter on top of litter and Tawny’s mom had too many to care for without enough resources.

Tawny and her siblings were brought to The Cat House so they could grow up in a compassionate foster home until they were ready for adoption.

Could tawny orange Tawny bring her love and companionship to your welcoming world? Could sister Trixie come too? Double joy for you!

How to Adopt Tawny

To adopt Tawny, Trixie, or see other available cats and kittens, visit The Cat House on the Kings.

All adoptable animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas, and litter-box trained. And, 30 days of pet insurance is included with an adoption.

The nonprofit Cat House on the Kings is California’s largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center.
