The Big Fresno Fair Concerts

The Table Mountain Concert Series continues all week.

The alt-rock band The All-American Rejects takes the Paul Paul Theater stage on Thursday. They’ve sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. With smash hits like ā€œDirty Little Secret,ā€ ā€œMove Along,ā€ ā€œSwing, Swing,ā€ and ā€œIt Ends Tonight,ā€ their music resonates with millennials. Their single ā€œGives You Hellā€ peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Pop chart, topped the iTunes chart, reached No. 5 as the most downloaded song, and was the most played song of 2009.

Rockin’ the Fair on Friday is George Thorogood and The Destroyers. Thorogood and his band have put on 8,000 performances and sold more than 15 million albums. His blues sound became a staple of 1980s U.S. rock radio, with hits like his original songs ā€œBad to the Boneā€ and ā€œI Drink Alone.ā€ In addition to Thorogood, today’s lineup includes Jeff Simon and longtime Destroyers Bill Blough, Jim Suhler, and Buddy Leach.

The multi-platinum recording artist and producer, G-Eazy, will turn the Fair into a party on Saturday. His third full-length studio album, ā€œThe Beautiful & Damnedā€ (2017), debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and featured two No. 1 radio hits: ā€œNo Limitā€ featuring A$AP Rocky and Cardi B, and ā€œHim & Iā€ featuring Halsey. The 5x platinum single ā€œNo Limitā€ has been streamed over 1 billion times worldwide to date. The ā€œBeautiful & Damnedā€ followed his platinum-certified sophomore album ā€œWhen It’s Dark Outā€ (2015), which included the 5x platinum single ā€œMe, Myself & Iā€ featuring Bebe Rexha.

Calibre 50 and Banda Carnaval bring the Latin heat on Sunday. Calibre 50 are an award-winning norteƱo quartet from MazatlĆ”n, Sinaloa. In 2012, the band released a duet with the band Carnivale, ā€œGente Batallosa,ā€ which became the most played song of the year in Mexico and netted the band a Billboard Award for Song of the Year Vocal Collaboration.

Banda Carnaval is a regional Mexican band from MazatlĆ”n, Sinaloa. In 2014, ā€œEl Que Se Enamora Pierdeā€ placed high on airplay charts, and the title track from ā€œLa Historia de Mis Manosā€ placed in the top spot on the Mexican Regional Songs chart, remaining there for several weeks.
