Fresno Authorities Need Help Finding Deceased Woman's Family

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating the family of 74-year-old Donna McConnell to arrange her burial. (Fresno County SO)

The Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating the family of a deceased Fresno woman.

Donna McConnell, 74, was described by officials as 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 190 pounds, with green eyes and gray hair.

Despite an extensive search through personal records, the Coroner’s Office has been unable to locate any immediate relatives.

Finding next of kin is a necessary step before the office can release McConnell’s body and arrange for a burial.

Anyone with information about McConnell’s family is urged to contact the Coroner’s Unit at (559) 600-3400 or email coroner@fresnosheriff.org.
