GV Wire senior reporter David Taub talks with KMPH Fox 26 “Great Day” anchor Christina Lopez about the firing of Jose Garza, Parlier’s police chief, in 2021. Parlier’s mayor and city manager of obstructing an ongoing police investigation. He sued the city for wrongful termination, and a recent court decision awarded him $1 million in damages.
Garza is now the police chief in Coalinga.
