American Express experienced a possible outage Thursday, with thousands of users reporting issues, according to Downdetector.com.

More than 2,600 users had reported problems with the platform as of 7:59 a.m. PT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

Most users reporting problems to Downdetector said they were experiencing issues with paying bills and web login.
