Ed Sheeran and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft each plan to donate $2 million toward humanitarian relief in the region after Macklemore announced he would give $1 million from his earnings on Sheeran’s tour to organizations supporting Palestinians, Variety reported.

Macklemore said Wednesday that he would donate his entire $1 million in net earnings from Sheeran’s Loop Tour to six organizations: Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, HEAL Palestine, Gaza Soup Kitchen, Medical Aid for Palestinians, UNRWA USA National Committee, and Anera.

The rapper also called on Kraft to match the contribution.

Kraft later said Sheeran had contacted him before Macklemore’s challenge and asked him to match a $2 million donation aimed at addressing the humanitarian crisis. Kraft agreed, bringing their combined planned contributions to $4 million.

Variety reported that it remained unclear which organizations would receive Sheeran’s and Kraft’s donations. Representatives for both men did not immediately provide additional details to the publication.
