A Tipton man was convicted Friday of multiple crimes against children in Tulare County Superior Court.

A jury found Cristian Alejandro Garcia, 32, guilty of nine counts of child molestation, according to prosecutors. Jurors also found true special allegations that there were multiple victims and that the conduct was substantial.

The crimes involved two victims younger than 10 years old and occurred from July 2022 through March 2024 in Tipton, the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office said in a statement.

Garcia is scheduled to be sentenced July 7 in Tulare County Superior Court. He faces a potential life sentence in prison.

The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Vanessa Martens and investigated by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department.
