Visalia police arrested three men on multiple firearms charges during enforcement operations at the annual Mooney’s Grove Easter Car Show on Saturday.

Officers with the Special Enforcement Unit, Traffic, Patrol, TRATT, and TCSO TAGNET conducted traffic stops at the event, leading to the discovery of several illegal weapons.

A K9 search revealed an unregistered handgun, a stolen handgun, a P80-style handgun, and a high-capacity drum magazine in a vehicle driven by Moises Cabrera, 35, and Marc Sanders, 55, both from Fresno.

In a separate stop Mario Perez, 22, of Corcoran was found carrying a loaded, unregistered handgun with a high-capacity magazine in his waistband and was booked on firearms charges as well as an outstanding Kings County warrant.
