Federal agents raided the home and office of Alberto Carvalho on Wednesday after executing court-approved search warrants, authorities confirmed, Fox 11 reported.

Agents entered the superintendent’s downtown office and San Pedro residence, carrying boxes of unspecified materials while employees were evacuated from the headquarters.

Officials have not disclosed the nature of the investigation, and both Carvalho and the Los Angeles Unified School District have yet to comment. The warrants were judicially approved, but details remain sealed.

It is unclear whether the probe targets Carvalho personally or broader district operations, and no arrests or additional searches have been announced.
