Visalia Police Arrest Man After Illegal Firearms Found During Traffic Stop

A routine traffic stop Friday morning led to the arrest of a man after officers discovered multiple illegal firearms in his vehicle, Visalia police said.

Tommy Hawk Gutierrez was pulled over around 8 a.m. for driving without a license plate, according to the department.

During the stop, officers found several illegally modified AR-style rifles, a short-barreled shotgun, and a quantity of ammunition.

Gutierrez now faces multiple felony charges, police said.
