The Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating relatives of a 61-year-old Fresno man who died earlier this month.

The Coroner’s Office said Sybone Sie died Jan. 4. A photo of Sie is unavailable, but officials said someone may recognize him by his unique name.

Staff have searched numerous personal records, but efforts to contact family members have been unsuccessful.

Locating immediate relatives is required before the Coroner’s Unit can release the body and allow for a proper burial.

Anyone with information about Sie’s relatives is asked to contact the Coroner’s Unit at (559) 600-3400 or by email at coroner@fresnosheriff.org.
