GV Wire’s Edward Smith talks with KMPH Fox 26 “Great Day” anchor Liz Gonzalez about the demise of the Almond Board of California’s annual forecast.
The last projection, likely off by hundreds of millions of pounds, caused the largest single-day almond price loss in recent history.
The forecast had been fairly accurate in the past and it created price stability, said one researcher.
