Fresno Unified School District is looking to fill teaching positions and school leadership roles for the 2026-27 school year.

“We are actively seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in students’ lives and helping guide them toward successful futures. With openings across a wide range of teaching and leadership roles, we invite you to consider joining the Fresno Unified team,” said Superintendent Misty Her.

Fresno Unified boasts the most competitive teacher salary in the Central Valley and provides 100% health coverage with low monthly premiums, according to the district.

Also, employees have advanced degree opportunities and room for professional growth, the district said.

Recently, Fresno Unified trustees approved a supplemental retirement plan, potentially saving $56 million over the next five years. 573 employees agreed to retire early and leave the district at the end of this school year.
