Lucky, a 4-month-old shepherd mix rescued with five siblings from an orchard, is settling into foster care and hoping his good fortune continues with a permanent home in time for the holidays.

Now weighing about 34 pounds, Lucky has quickly grown into a playful, affectionate puppy known for his love of cuddles and his knack for stealing snacks.

Initially timid, he has begun to show his personality, sleeping quietly in his crate on his first night and surprising his foster family the next morning by mastering the doggy door.

Lucky is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and available for adoption through Mell’s Mutts rescue of Fresno.
