A 22-year-old man was arrested in connection with multiple shootings at the same Fresno residence last month, none of which resulted in injuries, Fresno police said.

Northwest Policing District officers first responded at about 7:24 a.m. on Nov. 2 to a report of shots fired at a home near West San Carlos and North Pope avenues. Residents were asleep at the time and were not injured. Witnesses reported hearing gunfire overnight and seeing a vehicle flee northbound, and officers found shell casings at the scene, police said.

Officers responded to the same residence for a second shooting at about 2:35 a.m. on Nov. 21 and a third shooting at about 1:30 a.m. eight days later. In those cases, multiple shell casings were recovered, and during the third shooting officers also observed strike marks on windows and walls of the home. No injuries were reported in either incident, police said.

Detectives with the Fresno Police Department’s Street Violence Bureau Felony Assault Unit identified Jordan Rios, 22, described as a criminal street gang member, as the suspect responsible for two of the three shootings.

On Thursday, Dec. 11, a search warrant was served at a Clovis residence by Fresno police’s Career Criminal Apprehension Team with assistance from the Clovis Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team, and Rios was taken into custody without incident, police said.

Rios was booked into the Fresno County Jail on multiple felony charges, including shooting at an inhabited dwelling, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, and a probation violation. He is being held without bail.
