Two men were arrested in connection to a Nov. 8 armed robbery in Madera in which a victim was shot, police said.
The Madera Police Department said officers responded around 7:30 p.m. to Rancho San Miguel following the robbery. Investigators collected witness statements, video surveillance, and other evidence, which led to a city residence where a search warrant was executed.
Police recovered a handgun similar to the one used in the robbery, cash, and other items linked to the crime. The suspects, 21-year-olds Ismael Farias and Anthony Juarez, were arrested on Nov. 13 and booked into the Madera County Jail on multiple felony charges.
“The Madera Police Department remains committed to the safety of our community and will continue to take decisive action against violent crime,” the department said.
