Venmo experienced a possible outage Wednesday, with thousands of users reporting issues, according to Downdetector.com.

More than 4,000 users had reported problems with the platform as of 3:50 p.m. PT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

Most users reporting problems to Downdetector said they were experiencing issues with the mobile app.

GV Wire has requested a statement from Venmo.

Update at 3:58 p.m. PT

Downdetector shows that more than 6,000 users had reported an issue with Venmo.

Update at 4:00 p.m. PT

Nearly 10,000 users have reported an issue with Venmo to Downdetector.

More than 15,000 users have reported an issue with Venmo, according to Downdetector.

Downdetector is showing more than 22,000 users reported an issue with Venmo.

Nearly 30,000 users have reported an issue with Venmo.
