A garbage truck overturned Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, closing the northbound Highway 99 offramp and No. 3 lane at Ashlan Avenue, with traffic backed up to Shields Avenue and no reopening time announced. (Caltrans)

The northbound Highway 99 offramp and outermost lane at Ashlan Avenue closed Wednesday after a garbage truck overturned, according to Caltrans.

Traffic was reported backed up to Shields Avenue. Officials said there is no estimated time for reopening.
