Rocket League, an arcade-style sports game in which players drive rocket-powered cars to knock a giant ball into the opponent’s goal, much like soccer, experienced a server connection outage Thursday, with thousands of users reporting issues, according to Downdetector.com.

More than 2,000 users had reported problems with the platform as of 2 p.m. PT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

User comments on Downdetector.com speak on wait times reaching up to 10 minutes to join a game.

On Reddit, the Rocket League account said, “We’re aware of long matchmaking queue times in Rocket League. Our team is investigating the issue and working to resolve it. We’ll provide an update as soon as we have more information.”
