Kern County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead early Friday on the shoulder of South Union Avenue.
Deputies responded around 4:20 a.m. to the 2500 block of South Union Avenue, where they located a deceased adult male with visible signs of trauma, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office said.
Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation, which remains active and ongoing.
