Story Update

Police confirmed at 9:08 a.m. Saturday that three people were transported to a hospital and one died.

When officers arrived, they found multiple people had been shot after a fight broke out inside Sebby’s, the Visalia Police Department said.

Three individuals were taken to a local hospital, where one victim later died. The case is now being investigated as a homicide.

The department’s Violent Crimes Unit is leading the investigation.

Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Saturday at Sebby’s, a business near Main and Garden streets, authorities said.

Officers responded around 1:43 a.m. to reports of gunfire and found multiple people had been shot, the Visalia Police Department said.

The incident remains under investigation.

Police reported early this morning that roads in the area are closed, and police are asking the public to avoid the scene.
