A wildfire named the Garnet Fire broke out Sunday afternoon, prompting evacuation orders in parts of Fresno County, officials said.
The blaze was reported on Sunday at 2:13 p.m. south of Rodgers Ridge near Garnet Dike, according to the U.S. Forest Service.
By Monday morning, it has grown to 3,338 acres and remains at 0% containment, CalFire reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Evacuation orders were issued for zones K27, K30 and K31, while warnings were in place for zone K29, officials said.
No injuries, fatalities or damage to structures have been reported.
Another blaze, the Branch 2 Fire, started Sunday evening west of the Garnet Fire and has burned 32 acres.
