President Donald Trump on Friday said Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser “better get her act straight” or she won’t continue in her role too far in the future.

“It was unsafe,” Trump told reporters. “It was horrible and Mayor Bowser better get her act straight or she won’t be mayor very long because we take it over with the Federal Government running it like it’s supposed to be run.”

Trump last week called crime in the capital totally out of control and launched a sweeping crackdown, deploying National Guard soldiers and federal agents on the street.
