GV Wire’s Edward Smith talks with KMPH Fox 26 “Great Day” anchor Liz Gonzalez about the ICE detention of a local man.
Long-time Pismo’s Coastal Grill general manager Psalm Behpoor was detained on June 23 in Fresno and sent to a detention facility in Bakersfield.
Behpoor said he, like many other detainees with nonviolent criminal records, have been torn from families they support.
He has lived in Fresno since fleeing Iran as a 3-year-old with his mother 38 years ago.
