Madera police are investigating a traffic collision that has blocked parts of two streets Friday.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Yosemite Avenue and I Street, police said.

One eastbound lane of Yosemite Avenue is closed, along with northbound traffic on I Street.

Authorities are asking drivers to avoid the area until the roadway is reopened.
