The U.S. Postal Service for the first time is giving the public a voice in shaping stamp history.
It’s a nationwide initiative inviting Americans to vote for their favorite previously issued stamps to be re-released in a special collection.
Through Sept. 30, 2025, the public can cast their votes online at stampsforever.com/vote.
At the site, voters can choose from 25 iconic designs that span themes from American history and popular culture to natural wonders and artistic achievements.
“This is a celebration of the stamps that captured the hearts and imaginations of the public,” says Sacramento Postmaster Neil Gonzalez. “From the timeless beauty of American landscapes to the cultural icons who shaped our nation, the Encore Stamp Collection will honor the designs that left a lasting impression.”
There are no limits on participation, so vote to your heart’s desire.
The top five stamps selected by the public will be reissued as Forever® stamps in a limited-edition Encore Collection, scheduled for release in 2026.
How to Vote:
- Visit stampsforever.com/vote
- Review the stamp nominees
- Select your top five favorites
- Submit your vote by 11:59 p.m. ET on Sept. 30, 2025.
The winning stamp pane will be announced during the Boston 2026 World Expo in May 2026.
