Madera County Authorities Dismantle Illegal Marijuana Grow Operation

Authorities in Madera County dismantled an illegal marijuana grow operation Thursday morning in the unincorporated community of Raymond, officials said.

The Madera County Narcotic Enforcement Team, with support from Madera County Probation, served a search warrant in the 41000 block of Road 612, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies located and eradicated 1,667 marijuana plants during the operation.

Two individuals were detained and questioned at the scene but later released pending further investigation.
