Authorities have lifted the evacuation order for the Max Fire in Fresno County, though roadblocks remain in place as firefighting equipment continues to operate in the area, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said.
The evacuation order effected zone K61.
The wildfire, which began Sunday afternoon near Big Creek Road and Vomac Road by Pine Flat Lake, has burned 426 acres and is 20% contained, officials said on Wednesday morning.
