The Madera County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 28-year-old man who is wanted on felony burglary and grand theft warrants.

Tyler Joseph Norris is the primary suspect in a series of thefts at a private residence on Highway 145.

Just before 8:30 p.m. Monday, he was seen fleeing the property in a black Chevrolet Silverado with California license plate 33404X1 after being confronted by an on-site security guard.

Witnesses reported seeing Norris at the property several times in recent weeks.

He was positively identified in a photographic line-up with 100% certainty, officials said.

Authorities believe Norris may be accompanied by Teresa Marie Torres, 40, who is also wanted on a misdemeanor warrant in Madera County.
