Three people were arrested after a standoff and search at a northeast Fresno apartment led to the discovery of firearms, ammunition, and gang-related materials, the Fresno Police Department reported.

Officers responded around El Paso and Angus avenues on Tuesday morning following reports of a group of armed individuals arguing outside an apartment.

As officers arrived, the individuals attempted to flee. One man and one woman were detained immediately, while another man ran into an apartment.

Police established a perimeter and the man later jumped from a second-story window in an attempt to escape.

He was quickly apprehended.

A search warrant was served at the apartment, where officers found multiple firearms, ammunition, a homemade suppressor, various gun parts, and a gang-related manifesto.

The two men, both convicted felons, were arrested on weapons charges.

One of them was also booked on a probation warrant. The female suspect was arrested for weapons violations and narcotics possession.

All three were booked into the Fresno County Jail.
