U.S. Democratic House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries on Thursday broke the record for longest uninterrupted speech in the chamber while debating in opposition to Republican tax-cut bill. Jeffries spoke for over eight hours and 45 minutes and ended his remarks at 1:37 p.m.
