Police in Visalia are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect believed to be connected to multiple sexual assaults reported early Saturday morning.

Officers were dispatched around dawn to the area of Locust Street and Northwest 1st Avenue for a medical aid call requiring police assistance.

They discovered a victim who had been sexually assaulted, police said.

As the investigation continued, officers located two more victims near Oval Park. Visalia Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation.

Authorities descripted the suspect as a Hispanic man in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a thin build, clean-shaven face, and brown eyes.

Police said the suspect may have visible facial injuries sustained during one of the assaults.
