Global pop icon Shakira has added a Fresno stop to her record-breaking Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, with a newly announced stadium show set for Thursday, Aug. 7, at Valley Children’s Stadium.
The tour, which launched in Latin America in February, has already sold out major venues worldwide and recently kicked off its North American leg with a packed show in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Shakira’s performances feature hits spanning her decades-long career, including “Hips Don’t Lie,” “Waka Waka,” and new songs from her GRAMMY-winning album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.
Tickets for the Fresno concert will be available through Citi presale beginning Monday, June 23.
General ticket sales start Wednesday, June 25, at 10 a.m. on LiveNation.com.
VIP packages, including meet-and-greet opportunities and exclusive merchandise, will also be offered.
According to Billboard, the tour has generated more than $70 million from 11 shows and set multiple records, including the highest March gross in Boxscore history and the most stadium dates by a female artist in a single city.
The tour continues this weekend with back-to-back sold-out shows in Phoenix before additional U.S. dates and a return to Mexico for 13 encore performances.
