A wildfire burning in steep, rocky terrain in Fresno County has grown to 14 acres and destroyed one structure, according to CalFire.
The Ruth Fire, which started Friday near Ruth Hill Road and Barberry Lane in Yokuts Valley, remains active and is 20% contained.
The fire grew from an initial 10 acres earlier in the day.
CalFire officials said the blaze is burning through oak woodland and annual grass and is being driven by slope. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
One structure has been destroyed and another damaged, but no civilian or firefighter injuries have been reported.
About 140 personnel are assigned to the fire. The suppression effort includes 13 engines, two water tenders, three helicopters, two bulldozers, five hand crews, and 12 additional support units.
Numerous firefighting air tankers from across the state are assisting with suppression efforts as weather permits, CalFire reported.
