Officers responded around 2:25 a.m. to the area of Parkway and White avenues and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Fresno Police Department.

The victim was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.

Detectives with the department’s Felony Assault Unit reviewed surveillance footage and tracked a female suspect leaving the scene.

Officers later located a woman matching the suspect description and identified her as Noel Andrea Marie Tyler.

Tyler was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder, discharging a firearm resulting in great bodily injury, and possession of a loaded firearm in public.
