Fresno County Authorities Seek Public’s Help in Huron Homicide

Fresno County homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in solving the 2017 murder of a 22-year-old Huron man after receiving new information that has shifted the focus of their investigation.

Jesus Adrian Amador Jr. was shot multiple times on March 27, 2017, near 10th Street, east of Lassen Avenue in Huron, authorities said.

Authorities were initially called around 2:30 p.m. to reports of gunfire in the area of Lassen and Tornado avenues. Officers found Amador and a second victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Amador was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, where he later died. The second victim was treated at the scene and released.
