A man was killed and two others were injured in a shooting at a Fresno barbershop Saturday evening, the Fresno Police Department said in a statement.

Officers were dispatched shortly before 5:15 p.m. to a ShotSpotter activation at Los Viejones Barbershop on North Van Ness Avenue.

Authorities said the shooting took place both inside and outside of the business.

Three gunshot victims were located — two at the scene and one a short distance away.

One of the victims, identified as Jampier Quintero, 44, was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where he died.

The other victims, a 20-year-old and a 17-year-old Hispanic male, were treated for gunshot wounds and later released from the hospital.

Homicide detectives are leading the investigation and are working to determine a motive.

Officers have canvassed the area for witnesses and surveillance footage, but no suspects have been identified.
