A man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a fire set at an auto dealership in Fresno over the weekend, the Fresno Fired Department announced in a statement.

Steven Gilbert Reinhart was taken into custody without incident late Tuesday by the Fresno Police Department after fire investigators identified him as the suspect.

The blaze broke out Saturday at the southwest corner of Cesar Chavez Boulevard and Van Ness Avenue, according to officials.

Reinhart faces seven felony counts of arson and is being held at the Fresno County Jail on $290,000 bail.

“Anyone setting intentional fires in our community will be investigated, arrested, and prosecuted,” Fire Chief Billy Alcorn said in a statement. “These acts will not be tolerated.”
