Fresno Man Found Dead, Coroner’s Office Seeks Help Finding Family

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office is asking for public assistance in locating the family of 60-year-old Jonathan Scott, who passed away from natural causes on March 17, 2025. (Fresno County SO)

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office is seeking assistance from the public to locate the family of 60-year-old who passed away from natural causes on March 17.

Staff have been unable to locate any relatives of Jonathan Scott, who was described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and 175 pounds.

Locating immediate family members is a necessary step before the Coroner’s Unit can release the body for a proper burial.

Anyone with information about Scott’s family is encouraged to contact the Coroner’s Unit at (559) 600-3400 or by email at coroner@fresnosheriff.org.
