Michael Froman, president of the Council on Foreign Relations and former U.S. trade representative, spoke with Fareed Zakaria ahead of what former President Donald Trump calls “Liberation Day,” when he is expected to announce widespread tariffs.

In the interview, Froman and Zakaria discuss the potential impact of sweeping tariffs if they are implemented.
